A Columbian Black-tailed deer stealing apples from a tree in a rural neighbourhood. This buck had a badly damaged right antler that was not visible in this image. The damage was likely either from a recent accident or possibly from a fight with another buck in the previous season's rut. Once damaged, an antler rarely grows back normally again. I was thankful he gave me his good side.
